Tasked by Movado to create a contemporary case and band concept for their iconic Museum timepiece. I developed and modeled this using Solidworks and Keyshot. The band is composed of three unique shapes which are then correctly assembled and motion studied within Solidworks in order to optimize for flexure and comfort. The aesthetic goal here was to imbue a solid link steel band and case with a crisp lightness reminiscent of origami.
